Millersville Students Awarded Over $17k in Scholarships from the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation

Five Millersville University students were selected to receive scholarships from the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) – the printing industry’s largest scholarship program. The five awards totaled $17,202 and this is the first time that so many students from Millersville have won PGSF scholarships at one time. The selected students represent three different majors on campus that provide educational experiences appropriate to PGSF’s purpose of connecting interested students, donors, educators, and industry professionals.

The Millersville University award recipients for the 2022-23 academic year are:

  • Lauren Walsh – Graphic Comm Major, AEST Deptartment
  • Reagan Steinberg – Graphic Comm Major, AEST Department
  • Julia Meassick – Graphic Comm Major, Applied AEST Department
  • Aleia Baker – Technology & Engineering Education Major, AEST Department

Joshua Evans – Graphic Design Major, Art & Design Department

PGSF annually awards scholarships to support deserving students as they pursue post-secondary education in Graphic Communication related fields. This year, over 600 applications for scholarships were received by PGSF for initial consideration. From this group, the Scholarship Selection Committee carefully evaluated approximately 200 of the top applications to make final selections. The five Millersville students were among an even smaller group of high-ranking students chosen to represent the scholarships and PGSF.
