March (inaugural) Community Update Presentation Feedback (Adam):

The first Community Update was held on March 21 and included a brief overview of what to expect at Community Updates as well as highlights from the February Discovery Sessions report from BarkleyREI. Concerns over the sample prospective student population was a hot topic at this presentation. To address this concern, additional data was collected from over 100 prospective undergraduate students at the March 25 Open House and online surveys to graduate and online students is underway.

Web Strategy Presentation (Adam and Vincent):

A brief overview of the proposed strategy by BarkleyREI was shared. Based on feedback from the Core Project Team, the strategy is in line with our goals for this project and we will be moving forward.

Next step: The Core Team will be reviewing the initial sitemap and homepage wireframe concepts in late April.

Special note:

If you’re wondering what you can do to prepare for the new website, please begin to review your site content and make sure it’s current and correct (deleting any old pages, forms and information). You will be informed when there will be a “content migration deadline” date. To clarify, this means that you will still be able to add and change content to your pages, but any new content past that date may not make it onto the new site. As soon as we have this date, we will send it out via ‘Ville Daily. We still have plenty of time before we reach that point.
