Millersville University has announced that the Music Business Technology degree program will be renamed the “Clair Brothers Music Business Technology Program,” in honor of Roy Clair ‘67.

Students take courses in computer applications for music production, audio recording, artist management, record company operations, music marketing, audio for video, live audio and have the opportunity to perform in popular music and/or traditional music groups and ensembles.

“It’s gratifying to see a program, that engages our students who have a passion in the field, gain the approval from industry leader, Roy Clair,” said Dr. Vilas Prabhu, provost and vice president for academic affairs. “Our faculty developed this new curriculum to provide students with a solid foundation in music technology, music business, and music performance, with the depth to be competitive in the industry.”
