Fall Open Houses bring 4K guests to campus

With the November 11 Open House on the books, admissions is reporting a total of 1,446 prospective students visited campus during the September, October and November Open Houses. Together with parents/family members, open houses brought 4,000 visitors in total to campus from the following states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Ohio, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Each Open House included an Activities Fair, Academic Sessions, Lunch and Campus Tours. The Academic Sessions, Lunch and Campus Tours were particularly well received, based on visitor feedback. They found the explanations at the Academic Sessions to be “very thorough,” “informative” and the professors to be “extremely knowledgeable.” Those who dined at the Upper Deck commented the food was “amazing” and “excellent.” Overall comments included glowing remarks such as, “Beautiful campus. Everyone was very warm, welcoming and helpful” and “Really enjoyed my experience. Really can picture myself at Millersville.”

Admissions hosts two important events next semester: a March 24 Open House; and an April 7 Accepted Student Day.
