Millersville University will greet their new crop of incoming students for the 2017-18 academic year on Thursday, Aug. 24.
Returning students and transfer students will arrive back on campus on Saturday, Aug. 26 and Sunday, Aug. 27, just in time to kick off the first day of classes on Monday, Aug. 28.
Orientation check-in for new residential students will take place on Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the SMC Robert L. Slabinsky Atrium. New commuting students can check in for orientation on Aug. 25 from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
New students are encouraged to follow the move-in schedule listed below. This staggered move-in will alleviate traffic build up and make sure there are enough staff members to assist. All students should check in at their assigned residence hall. Vehicle drivers must stay with their vehicle in the drop-off zone during move in. Any families bringing trailers, U-Hauls or commercial vehicles will not be permitted in the drop off zone until the designated “trailer” time for each building.
