Fundraiser for Diana’s Dreamers: Determined to Defeat Breast Cancer

The Dave Holt band will be reuniting for a one-time concert at Millersville University’s (MU) the Ware Center on Sunday, October 21, from 2 to 4 p.m.   After a 10 year absence from the Lancaster music scene, the band is reuniting to help raise money for breast cancer awareness in a show titled “Live, Laugh, Love.”

Emceed by Barry Kornhauser, assistant director of campus and community engagement for MU, the show will also feature two other musical artists.  Liz Fulmer will reprise her original song “Fighter” that debuted three years ago, and high school student Kylie Dagit will present an original dance to the song.  In addition, Dr. Neal Harnly and his musical friends Dr. Peter Kenote (member of the New York Philharmonic), Sara Male, James Armstrong and Michael Vitale will present Claude Bolling’s Jazz Suite.

A fundraising reception hosted by Johnny Roberts of Isaac’s Restaurants will follow the performance.

Major sponsors for the event are Rick and Jessica Rodgers, Frank Fox and Dr. Dennis Denenberg.

The event and reception are fundraisers for “Diana’s Dreamers: Determined to Defeat Breast Cancer.”  It is an endowment based through the Millersville University Foundation and promotes breast cancer awareness among college aged students.

All donations added to the ticket cost will be matched by Dr. Denenberg up to $10,000 total.
