Dr. Cora Dzubak, an Academic Advisement Coordinator/Instructor for the Department of Academic Advisement & Student Development at Millersville, presented at Lancaster Learns on February 23.  The presentation was titled “Students and Memory:  A Four Step Model Fostering Success.” Conference participants included faculty and staff from Millersville, Penn State, Elizabethtown, Messiah College, Franklin and Marshall, Lancaster Bible College, HACC and PA College of Health Sciences.  Prior to her appointment at MU Dzubak was the director of the Nittany Success Center and an instructor at Penn State York where she also taught Educational Psychology and First Year Seminar.  Her teaching background also includes graduate courses in special education at Temple-Harrisburg and a course in learning theory for Penn State – Harrisburg.

Dr. M. P. A. Sheaffer, English, sang as an alto ringer with the Canterbury Choral Society in its mid-winter concert on March 4 at the Church of the Heavenly Rest in New York City. They performed Johannes Brahms’ Requiem to a full house.
