MU Recognized for Oceanography Degree

Land-locked Millersville University has been ranked in the top 10 in the country for a bachelor’s degree in oceanography by College Values Online. MU ranked number two based on tuition, financial aid opportunities, degree customization options and “wow” factors.

“We are proud that our Ocean Sciences and Coastal Studies program at Millersville University has achieved this distinction,” says Ajoy Kumar, associate professor of Ocean Sciences and Coastal Studies.

Millersville’s Department of Earth Sciences offers comprehensive programs of study leading to Bachelor of Science degrees in meteorology, ocean sciences and coastal studies, and geology, Bachelor of Arts in earth sciences with a new option in environmental geology, and a Bachelor of Science in education in earth science with a teaching certification in earth and space science.
