Winter Fair at the ‘Ville

Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa rolled into one!

christmas-kwanzaa-and-hanukkahFamily fun and good times will abound at the ‘Ville in December to help bring in the holiday season. The German Club, Hillel, African Student Association and University Activities Board will be hosting a Winter Fair on Friday, December 9 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the SMC Robert L. Slabinski Atrium.

The Winter Fair will feature free food from the major holidays – Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, holiday-themed caricatures and face-painting, ornament and kippah decorating, kwanzaa-style bracelet making and free photos with Santa Claus.

The event is free and open to the public – kids and families are encouraged to come.

Christmas-kwan-hanAt each station – ornament decorating, kippah decorating and kwanzaa-style bracelet making, the public will have the opportunity to learn about each culture’s traditions during their holiday.

The Robert L. Slabinski Atrium is located in the Student Memorial Center at 21 S. George Street. Parking passes should be obtained from the MU Police Station (Lebanon House), 237 N. George Street.
