The process to hire a new vice president of student affairs at Millersville University is underway. A search committee, made up of faculty, staff and students, is being chaired by Brian Hazlett, vice president of enrollment management.

“Our goal is to have a person in place by July 1, 2015,” said Hazlett. “It’s a critical senior position that will advise the president, so we are working to bring forth strong candidates.”

Sheila Murphy, an executive search consultant in Witt/Kieffer’s education practice has already been on campus and will be coordinating the search. Witt/Kiefer is the same company that conducted the national search for President John Anderson. The search firm is charged with identifying three or four candidates to bring to campus.
