Workshop Introduces New Evaluation System to Teachers

The Millersville University Art Education Program and the Pennsylvania Art Education Association will be co-hosting a workshop about the new teacher evaluation system on Saturday, October 5 from 9 a.m. – noon.

The workshop will focus on the development of student learning objectives (SLOs) for elective subject teachers. David Deitz, a consultant to the Pennsylvania Department of Education and lead on the Teacher Evaluation project, will be the featured speaker. The workshop will also include elective subject teachers, who piloted the SLOs in their classrooms and will share their experiences.
