New Foundation Officers and Directors Elected

The Millersville University Foundation has elected officers for 2013.

The Millersville University Foundation has elected officers for 2013. The foundation is a separate entity from Millersville University, and its mission is to manage and invest endowed gifts for the University. Effective January 2013, the following individuals will begin their term on the board:

Dr. Daniel R. Biemesderfer ’70, visiting scientist, University of Connecticut Marine Science Lab, Guilford, Conn.;

Judith C. Carter ’60, ’76M, retired librarian, Penn Manor School District, Millersville Pa.;

Gerald S. Robinson, attorney, Robinson & Geraldo P.C., Lancaster, Pa.;

Dr. Richard A. Glenn, political affairs professor at Millersville;

Jan L. Graybill ’80, president, Legacy Planning Partners, LLC, Orefield, Pa.;

Eric G. Liddell ’71, retired president, Phillips Graphic Finishing Inc., Cheyenne, Wyo.;

David K. Thompson, community volunteer, Millersville, Pa.

In addition, Robert E. Patterson of Willow Street, retired chief investment officer for the Pennsylvania Department of the Treasury, was named a lifetime director and Sarah Holland, of York, Pa., was named as a student director.

Today, the Foundation manages nearly 400 scholarship and program accounts, and holds assets in excess of $20 million. The Foundation’s activities are managed by an independent board that includes leaders from the University, the community and the alumni body at large.
