MU Ranks in Top 100

Millersville has been selected for inclusion in U.S. News & World Report’s annual college rankings for 2012.

U.S. News & World Report, in its annual college rankings issued for 2012, announced this week that Millersville University ranked 82 in the category of Best Regional Universities – in the North region. Millersville shares the slot with West Chester and Shippensburg as the highest ranked among the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) universities in this category. Bloomsburg came in 94, Slippery Rock 94, East Stroudsburg 107 and Kutztown was 122.

The 350-page 2012 edition of the Best Colleges guidebook is available at USNews.com, and will be on newsstands September 20.

U.S. News & World Report rankings are based on numerous factors including graduation and freshman retention rates, class size and student-to-faculty ratios. Overall, the category included a total of 572 institutions nationwide, ranked by region that provide a full range of undergraduate and graduate programs.
