Glorious Sounds of the Season

Millersville students and faculty representing some 14 different ensembles will be making holiday music at this year’s Glorious Sounds of the Season concert in December.

Ranging from 105 choir members to soloists, the students and faculty will make up close to 200 performers. The performances bring together every dimension of sound and size including instrumental, vocal and a combination thereof to include the audience for sing-a-longs.

“We are very excited about bringing this year’s Glorious Sounds of the Season concert downtown to Liberty Place Theatre,” said Dr. Keith Wiley, music professor and coordinator of the Glorious Sounds of the Season concert. “There may even be some new twists and surprises in this year’s event.”

Performances will be held at Liberty Place Theatre, located at 313 W. Liberty St., in Lancaster City. Dates and times for the Glorious Sounds of the Season concerts are:

• Saturday, December 4, 2:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
• Sunday, December 5, 3 p.m.

General admission tickets are $15 each and $8 on Saturday, for students. Tickets may be purchased Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Gerhart Hall (22 E. Frederick St.) or by calling 717-872-3811 and online at www.MUTicketsOnline.com.
