Save the date!  On Monday, April 16  the Millersville Mentoring Alliance Program is hosting the 8th Annual Celebration of Mentoring!  This fun and inspiring event will held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Lehr Room in the Bolger Conference Center, Gordinier Hall.

Our theme for the celebration  is “Making a Difference” in recognition of the amazing mentors and mentees who are truly making a difference through mentoring.  Angela Simmons, Director of Student Involvement and Leadership, is definitely one of those amazing people who believes in the positive power of mentoring.  We are thrilled to have Angela as our keynote speaker for this special event!

During the program, mentors and mentees will be invited to share brief (one to two minutes) remarks about their mentoring experience.  This is completely optional but is a wonderful way to express your appreciation.

Keep your eye out for your invitation to be arriving  in the mail during the week of March 19th!  RSVP’s are due by Monday, April 9th. You can respond by returning the enclosed response card in the invitation, or online at http://mville.us/celebratementoring.

If your mentor or mentee cannot attend, or if you are not currently matched with someone, please feel free to bring a friend!
