International students!
I’m pleased to offer the opportunity to all students to join the Alternative Spring Break program on our trips to Black Mountain, NC and Lancaster, PA March 11-16, 2018! Join us on a week of traveling and service around the country with these two unique opportunities.
NC- $250 – Working with the YMCA and doing various service projects that will be preplanned. We will be leaving Sunday morning and returning late Friday night. On the way home we will be stopping and have a fun activity to break up the trip.
Lancaster- $100 – I will be planning this trip closer to the dates utilizing community organizations and planning a week of service. This focus will be on social enterprises, advocacy, and education with immigration and migration.
Both trips will meet on a regular basis, according to their schedules. They will organize 2 fundraisers to cover the costs of the experiences, as well as raise awareness for the trips.
I just provided some general information on the trips, I attached a brochure with some more information. If you have any specific questions or anything please let me know and I would be happy to help!
*The applications had a due date of October 6th, however we are on a rolling admissions. Those that applied by that date were on a first come first serve basis. (If you are interested, apply today!)
