Field Retreats

The social work field retreats are held once a semester for Bachelor level social work students and once a year for MSW level students.  The social work field retreats are designed for students, field instructors, task supervisors, faculty liaisons, University School of Social Work Administrators to network and discuss changes within Field Education as well as community-wide. It offers an opportunity for students, field instructors, task supervisors, and faculty liaison to discuss and develop learning contracts, field seminar, and field supervision and university policy.  The field retreats also offer an opportunity for professional development which provides field instructors/task supervisors and students to participate in experiential, interactive, and reflective activities with other social workers and renew passion and commitment to the field and to their work.
