MU Student Award Winners at Expanded Visions

First place went to Megan Whitney for this piece of art.
Millersville University’s art and design department presented “Expanded Visions,” a month-long art exhibit that opened June 1 at The Ware Center, Millersville University Lancaster.
A local tradition from the 1980s, “Expanded Visions” is a photographic art competition where anyone can submit their photographs.

This year’s submissions were judged by Franklin & Marshall College Photography Professor John Holmgren.
Out of the five awards presented, Millersville students received first place, third place and honorable mention awards for their photos. First place was awarded to senior Megan Whitney, third place to Brittany Lamberton ’12 and honorable mention to Sara Bowman ’11.
All winning artwork is on display until June 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Ware Center.
