I enjoy writing because it allows me to get my thoughts and opinions down on things that I am passionate about. Writing lets me get these things out without having to actually say them. I think that it’s because of this that I mostly enjoy writing about sports, or current national or global events. Another enjoyable type of writing for me are narratives. Narratives are fun to write because it puts me in complete control. I can write the story in any way that I like, with whatever characters I like, with whatever ending I want. When faced with writing about other things, I often struggle and it becomes hard for me to focus on the topic at hand. One area of writing that I would like to write more about are my own life experiences. Whether it be a cool vacation, a spontaneous adventure with friends, or a weird dream I have, I want to capture these moments more often in my writing.
